What I am trying to find out is there a way to integrate hearing live music (using macbook pro) through the internal speaker, or through a mic connected through an audio input device (in my case an audiobox USB), running in something like Ambify / Garage band so that the live music the band is playing is ultimately synced with the hue lights, light strips, or TV video screen connected to the macbook for visual effects from ambify. Ambify (3, iOS) Ambify bills itself as a 'Hue-enabled jukebox,' combining your Hue lights with any iTunes playlist to turn any room into an impromptu dance hall. I understand Ambify software (provides cool visual effects on a monitor) can connect to a DAW and integrate with Philips Hue. I'm looking into Hue lights which I understand have some programming that can be done so they listen to and respond to a beat in the music playing on a device (itunes, etc). I have some lights that can be controlled through a DXM box for visual effects which we currently use and I want to upgrade to something with better tech. Philips Hue White Ambiance Wireless Lighting LED Light Bulb with Bluetooth, 5.5W B39 E14 Small Edison Screw Bulb, Pack of 2 44.99 Product review details, This product has received, on average, 5. Ambify connects to Philips Hue wireless lighting systems in order to generate realtime light effects from a variety of sources including med. Unfortunately, the company’s proprietary smartphone app is absolutely terrible. Here we go some list of an alternative/related app that you must try to install into your lovely MAC OSX And you’re done to remove Ambify from your MAC. I'm setting up a new band practice space. Philips’ line of Hue connected bulbs are arguably one of the coolest devices to hit the market this year.
